Behind the Deep End Scenes

I'd say we are one happy and fun bunch at Deep End. We do not take ourselves that seriously. We make everything light. The only things we take seriously are our music and quality of our mixing.

First and foremost, we always make sure things are at a light and friendly environment. Yes we may be damn too serious with our music and mixes to the point one may think "why the f*ck can't you ease up a little bit", but that is what Deep End is all about.

In other words, we combine our seriousness on music together with our fun loving attitudes when it comes to camaraderie and family as a team.

We treat our friends and followers as family as well. Some of us may be sweet, sometimes, too sweet. We want our friends and followers to be with us not only when we are spinning, but also in some of our HOHOL (to the innocent ones, HOHOL means Hang Out Hang Out Lang, the term "lang" means "only" in English) nights.

When Deep End was formed way back 2010, we right away decided to set things straight. We want damn good quality non-mainstream music only. We want quality mixing. We do not want things below standard. Demn serious huh!? Well, if one has to set standards based on the groups thrust, then ones really got to.

And another thing we set straight was our "fun factor". Being in Deep End is also about fun. Being part of the Deep End family is about fun, and we are happy to say that we are able to bring this to our followers and friends with our hangout nights and even during our business meetings! Indeed, business talks ends up with goofing offs!

Deep End is also composed of different personalities. We got one serious guy who can send out funny plug-ins, another is into girls and off the shelf jokes, another loves having fun no matter what it is, another loves goofing off with people, and so on (sorry, we will not name who is who, just find out yourselves). At the end, all these different personalities was what made Deep End a tight knit, dedicated and happy group.

We are happy that our followers and friends loves our team, and this is what inspires us to always go beyond what we were before by being better everyday. Being better in providing you all quality non-mainstream deep music from house to techno and being better in blending each song to create a beautiful mix set.

We will soon be posting non-music / DJing related stuff in this blog too. As much as possible, we want to make this as interesting as possible, without losing focus on our main mission and goal, and that is to spread the love for non-mainstream deep electronic dance music.
